I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU!! to my amazing mother. She raised me to be the strong, caring and independent woman that I am (along with my dad of course but it’s not Father’s Day right now). She supports me through decisions that some think are crazy (like joining the Peace Corps and moving to Swaziland for two years). She is even cooler because not only did she support my decision she is coming to visit me this June/July! So mom, thanks for always being there for me, even during my high school days when I know you were looking for a kid trade-in option. I love you. I miss you and I can’t wait to see you!!
Also you have made myself and some fellow PCVs very happy by being the mom that sends so many awesome care packages. I am very lucky to have you supporting me and caring for me from across and ocean and many time zones.
(I don’t know if Coke is doing this in the states but here they have campaign called “Share a Coke with…” I found one that said mom in Cape Town.)
